Instructor Biography

Joseph Cavalieri is artist and educator living in New York City. He has exhibited his art internationally, has many private and public glass art commissions include a MTA Arts for Transit public art installation. He has been invited to thirteen art residencies around the world, has taught over fifty workshops in fourty locations domestically and internationally.

This class encompasses all aspects of making a painted stained glass panel, from design and production, to mounting the work in a wooden frame, lit with LED lighting! Techniques covered including painting, pen-and-ink drawing, air-brushing, and sandblasting, while using a mounting and lighting system, which was developed by Cavalieri.
