I love glass, which is why it has been my full-time job since the 80’s, I have taught glass in some way since 1989. I had a stained glass business from 1990 to 2002, I also did fusing and sandblasting. I started lampworking in 1990 and never looked back.
Glassblowing goes back 4-5 generations on both sides of my family, it's in my blood. I never knew it until I started blowing glass in 1990.
I taught 11 years in Las Vegas for the community college program. I teach nationally; in home studios as well as familiar venues. I love being able to pass on so many years of struggle and watch the smile blaze across a student’s face when they realize they CAN do it. We start to take our skills for granted until we see someone trying to use a glass stringer and it makes us remember what it took to get there! It is very humbling!
I strive to pass that passion on to many more aspiring artists!
