Jordan is an advocate for the underdog and believes heavily in a work/life balance.  The most important element of their work and studio practice has always been PLAY!

Building Confidence With Color
When: Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays and Fridays, Jun 16 - Jun 20
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Dates: Jun 17, 18, 19, 20
Tuition $950.00

This course is designed to help students of all skill levels find their unique voice and gain confidence using a variety of experimentation-forward color techniques in the hot shop. The first few days will be focused on color bar drops, wraps as well as frit, powder application, and color theory with the hopes of spending the majority of the week on independent projects and demonstrations based on interest. The main objective of this class is to play and try new things while getting comfortable using a LOT OF COLOR!

This class is designed to get your hands in practice of techniques and your mind around the cost of using color. The focus of this course is not based on traditional techniques such as cane roll ups or incalmos, but rather "freaking it" to come up with unique and personal techniques that can grow and build with time and practice.

It is preferred that you have some experience in the hot shop and are able to work semi-independently, are comfortable gathering and moving through the hot shop, have taken ideally one or more extended classes and have used color in any capacity, although it is not required. Unless enrolled with a partner, you will be assigned a partner based on skill level and techniques of interest. This course will rely heavily on teamwork and clear communication. While this is a beginner friendly class, students with some experience in the hot shop will gain the most from this course.
