"Color is the language I speak best." -Vera Neumann

Drue Miller is a Pittsburgh-based glass artist and jewelry designer. She teaches fusing, stained glass and mosaic workshops at PGC. She is fascinated by the interplay between light and color and loves exploring the dramatic possibilities glass offers. She is heavily influenced by mid-century designs, from genie bottles and faceted glass church windows to richly colored textiles by Marimekko and Vera. Her jewelry line "Iris Fire Glass" is named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow and incorporates vibrant, color-shifting dichroic glass.
