Saturdays and Sundays

Instructor Biography

"Before I am an artist I am a craftsman"

Jaime Guerrero was born in Los Angeles California and received his BFA at the California College of Arts and Crafts. He has studied with Masters Checco Ongaro, Pino Signorretto, Ben Moore, Michael Schunke, and Clifford Reiney. Learning from these masters has given him the foundation to where he is today. In his early years he focused on technique in order to achieve his concepts in art. He believes that having a good handle of the craft gives his art integrity. He has been on the cover of American Craft Magazine and has had several featured articles on Glass Magazine. His work has varied over the years from high end decorative craft, which featured at Gumps in SF California, to figurative and sculptural work he now explores, which can be found in several museum collections.
