Take your fusing to another dimension in this fun new class. Learn the freeze and fuse technique to make beautiful three-dimensional embellishments to add to fused art panels and dishes. Freeze and fuse is a technique using powdered glass and water in silicone molds that is then frozen, popped out of the mold, and flash fired in a kiln. The glass retains its shape during the firing process, allowing for endless possibilities to add to your fused glass creations.
No prior glass making skill is needed. This is the perfect class for beginners or those with experience looking to add a new technique to their arsenal. A selection of silicone molds will be provided, but students may opt to bring their own for more variety. The instructor will be in touch prior to class with more information about sourcing molds and size limitations.
