Explore the use of colorful sheet glass, glass stringers (thin, colored rods), and frit (colored glass granules) to produce patterns and designs to adorn your candle votives. After tack fusing your creation, we will harness gravity in the kiln, draping it over a steel mold, the glass takes on the properties of fabric resulting in a lovely set of handkerchief votive candle holders.
COVID-19 CLASS POLICY The health and safety of our students and instructors is still our most important priority. High touch surfaces and equipment are cleaned after every class and multiple times a day. Due to the nature of the glass making process, every studio in the building has state-of-the-art ventilation. Masks are required for all visitors in all indoor public spaces. Beginning September 22, all individuals over the age of 12 who are taking a class or workshop must be vaccinated except for people with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Guests who fall into one of these exemption categories must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the class/workshop start time.
