Fusing and Slumping
Tuition $185.00

Whether you have never touched flat glass or have your own kiln at home, all experience levels can gain knowledge from this class. Start with tool fundamentals, glass cutting, and basic fusing rules. As the day progresses, explore a variety of techniques and materials. Discussions will cover a wide range of information about kilnforming, mold materials, kiln theory, and firing schedules. You will leave this class with many functional glass plates, bowls, and platters of your own creation, as well as a wealth of kilnforming knowledge.

The health and safety of our students and instructors is still our most important priority. High touch surfaces and equipment are cleaned after every class and multiple times a day. Due to the nature of the glass making process, every studio in the building has state-of-the-art ventilation.

Masks are required for all visitors in all indoor public spaces.
Beginning September 22, all individuals over the age of 12 who are taking a class or workshop must be vaccinated except for people with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Guests who fall into one of these exemption categories must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the class/workshop start time.
