This 12-week, intermediate-level class will build on the fundamentals taught in the beginner class and elaborate on more difficult blown shapes as well as teach new color application methods. If you have already taken the intermediate course, start working with hot glass in ways that go beyond creating vessels. You will also explore a variety of techniques to achieve different shapes and surface textures. Grades 9–12. SIO2 glassblowing or equivalent 24 hours previous experience required.

COVID-19 CLASS POLICY The health and safety of our students and instructors is still our most important priority. High touch surfaces and equipment are cleaned after every class and multiple times a day. Due to the nature of the glass making process, every studio in the building has state-of-the-art ventilation. Masks are required for all visitors in all indoor public spaces. Beginning September 22, all individuals over the age of 12 who are taking a class or workshop must be vaccinated except for people with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Guests who fall into one of these exemption categories must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the class/workshop start time.
