In this 10-week program, focus on skill-building and understanding hot glass. This is a great course if you have taken a PGC workshop or are just beginning your exploration of hot glass. First, instructors teach the basic skills of gathering, blowing, and tool handling. Next, focus on making functional vessels. After that, move into the sculptural world and begin creating larger vessels and learning a variety of decorative bit-work techniques. From there, follow your imagination! A series of group projects will occur throughout the 10 weeks. Grades 9–12.

Scholarship Application Deadline: September 5.  APPLY ONLINE

The health and safety of our students and instructors is still our most important priority. High touch surfaces and equipment are cleaned after every class and multiple times a day. Due to the nature of the glass making process, every studio in the building has state-of-the-art ventilation.

Masks are required for all visitors in all indoor public spaces.
Beginning September 22, all individuals over the age of 12 who are taking a class or workshop must be vaccinated except for people with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Guests who fall into one of these exemption categories must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the class/workshop start time.
