Creating truly unique stained glass requires standout, one-of-a-kind glass.

In this class, you will learn how to create blown glass works for specific use in stained glass panels. Covering mouth-blown sheet glass, rondels, and hand-pressed pieces, you will not only learn how to best make work in the hot shop but also adapt copper foil and lead channel to fit with the unique pieces.

You will create blown glass pieces and assemble them into copper foil and leaded panels in this five-day course touching upon all the aspects of making stained glass work with uniquely made blown glass.

Never design around glass available off the shelf at the local stained glass supply store again. Truly make your own stained glass, by making it hot!

Some experience in either stained glass or glassblowing is suggested, but there is no expectation for every student to have experience in both.
