The Tapestry and Beyond Intensive is a boot camp style class. It is a comprehensive class covering tapestry and beyond tapestry techniques and more, working with stringers and sheet glass.
Who takes this class?
- People who are new to tapestry
- People who have previously taken a tapestry class in person or online
- People who have purchased the Tapestry Master Class video from Bullseye
This class is designed to expand everyone's knowledge of a wide range of tapestry techniques and variations. On-edge assembly, cutting and reassembling, multiple firings, slumping, and coldworking expand the basic techniques. Many of the techniques in this class can be adapted and used with other patterned glass.
Prerequisite: Glass cutting experience, particularly strip cutting at 4mm thickness, and prior kilnforming experience.
Students are required to attend all days of the class.
